Due to my fatigue now, I don't think i can say much. But i really wanna express myself because of the many events that lead to one another today. It's worth to chronicle.Last day of prelims. Pretty amused by myself too, I don't feel relieved nor refreshed maybe because I didn't study as hard? I studied last minute for this paper but I only regret a bit, or maybe nil. That's because I think i did fairly okie for the paper. Not saying i will get good results, but I think i still can manage the paper. Maybe not an A1 but should not pose a fail. Talk about the paper. P1 was tough, freaking tough(exaggerating) because of the tedious questions that they ask. It must be lack of practice. Half an hour after the start of paper, I was only at question 16, which is not even half of the paper, and I'm thinking real hard for that particular qns but of course, no inkling, and the previous attempts were like the crocodile game, where you use a hammer to hit the crocodiles ascending from the holes, just wack without knowing whether right or wrong and either u hit the right spot or miss. It was terrible. I even used the number pattern to guess the answers like this particular qns, option D is 5 times greater option C and option C is about the same range as option A and B. So I'm thinking that the question would be tricky as if you did not divide your ans by 5 you would choose option D, so if you're careful you would divide your ans by 5 and choose the correct answer, option C. Thus it was kinda fun poking around with answers. Most of the questions that i guess are correct, maybe because my maths brain finds the answer suitable so i chose them. Whatever it is, I hope I won't do badly for the paper. Actually i was panicking during the course of doing P1, because the freak beside me which is shunmin(the one who gets 2nd in class 4/4) was constantly flipping the pages and confidently pressing the calculator keys which actually for the first time, made me hate calculators. Ha, so I thought I would not be able to finish the paper so I rushed through it, with shading anything when it comes to questions that did not suit my nature. I thought I'm the only one lagging behind but after the P1, i realised most of the people couldn't finish as well. Loh couldn't finish the paper, I was shocked. Nevertheless, i mugged during the break and managed to read up the important parts. I think I know how to spot questions. For all three sciences, I managed to read the important parts and apply it in P2. It was like somehow obvious because of the hints teacher gave and also knowing that the fact that the last few topics would be asked. Mostly credit goes to teachers(shows that they do try to help their students with their hints here and there. Ha.) Prelims over, now should be the time to relax and not study for O's. Solely because you have to get back the prelims papers and know where your mistakes lie and changing your concepts. It would be ridiculous if you study the wrong concepts over and over again. Thus, frens, take a short hiatus. Life is short okie.
After the last paper, awaits the celebration! I was on the bus deciding where to go with Van and Jf, but in the end they decided to go home and slack. I, of course, could not defy myself so i went to watch movie at orchard with 11 frens. They are Anders, Kim, Abi, Teresa, Ozy, Swee San, Jasmine, Yifang, BS, Alvin and Su. We booked the last row and watched New Police Story. Speaking of which chills my spine right from the top to the bottom. Yes, to me it is an even more horrifying ghost film. The reason being the gruesome and heartless treatments to innocent police. AlamakZ, they shot the police, dragged them across the floor, tie them up and hanging them, suspensing them in mid air, after which dropping them from a few storeys to land on the metal grills with their blood dripping. It was terrible. Of course they died. The thing is, it was not only once but 9 times where I had a hard time experiencing each and every one's pain. In another scene, they killed all the police present which is about 30 to 40 people. Crazy isn't it. I can tolerate counterstrike but not the "live" one please. Spare me. Ha, I'm not condemning the movie but thats what it had impacted me. Seriously, you should watch this movie as it tells you the consequences of psychological bully. Sounds like "King Of The Castle" huh, but with a different twist. Watch it yourself la.
Right after the intense show, we did not want to go home yet. The rest decided to go Kinokuniya but Ozy, Jas, Swee San and me went to House Of Stars and on the way, shop for slippers which Ozy wanted. We eventually did not find any suitable cost so forgo the idea to buy in Orchard. The rest had went home but Jas, Ozy and me (JOK) felt like staying till late. Teresa felt the same way but has to meet her mum at around Heeren. So in the end the four of us walked there and parted with Teresa when JOK entered Heeren and saw Becky with her younger sister. Her sister were taller(a bit) but not as pretty as Becky (no offense;subjective) We were amazed by Becky's dressing as she wore a tube top, which didn't show her assets but was a good attempt to make her look sexy. No offense please but the three of us were attracted by her. WOW!
As we were wondering aimlessly which we were getting bored by the minute, I suggested to go bowling, since there is a bowling alley in Cineplex(i don't know what's the building name) but to our horror and dismay, it closed down. So we changed our destination to where it would be Suntec or Downtown East. We decided to continue to walk to PS where we would make our final decisions. When we were walking halfway through, an unexpected "bomb" landed on Jas's hand. It was bird shit. Ha, so we went to this building to get rid of the unexpected surprise in the toilet. After we came out of the other side of the building, we were totally unfamiliar with the place. Somehow i thought we should head the direction of PS but we failed because it was totally different on the other side. So we just follow our impulse and walked as if one of the competitors in Amazing Race. We explored the area and eventually reached River Valley which comprised of these ulu houses and shophouses and even past through Mhd Sultan where there are many pubs. We continued our journey and wanted to get to Bugis because of the similar landmarks. However we were still at Fort Canning and I saw Liang Court, which I thought to myself, since when Liang Court is in Bugis. Ha, of course we took the wrong way but landed in Clark Quay where we thought we were somewhere near Bugis. We had a fun time navigating through Clark Quay. My first experience in there. When we walked out of Clark Quay, i thought I saw buildings of NAFA. Somehow, Jasmine pointed out that there was far from Bugis. We knew we were even furthur lost. Nevertheless we continued, thinking that we won't get lost in Singapore with the convenience of 240. We were so shocked when we saw "Chinatown Point". YES, we got ourselves in Chinatown. We would had lost if we participated in Amazing Race. Ha, we then had no choice but to enjoy ourselves there since in conjuction with Mid Autumn Festival, we celebrated and ate there. We are authentic Chinese ma. Upon returning to the MRT, we came across this taiwan shop which sells milk ice. Weird rite, never heard of this name. So we decided to try it. It tasted very nice with chocolate and was okie with passion fruit. Ha, actually I wanted chocolate but Jas and Ozy wanted passion fruit so we ended up with two toppings. My stubborn me. That marks the last course in our expedition today. Our numerous "the first times" were too many to be many. For me, first time walking from Orchard to Chinatown, eating at Chinatown with frens etc. There's really a lot. I will never forget this event that had made me grow up a little. I did enjoy myself today a lot. Our frenship bonded in a stronger way. Me, Ozy, Jas, close frens? Ha definitely much closer after today.
On our return trip, we took pictures in the MRT. Awe, we couldn't bear to leave with each other. Well i posted the pictures below the video and you can click it to enlarge it. I think i getting more pro at html. Chicken Feet man, I may even be better than Yan Liang or HuiSin or Yifang. HAHA!! oops getting swell-headed. Okie. Till the nxt time.
